Section manager Ground Based Air Defence, Marketing & Sales, BU Missile Systems

Your role

You will be a member of the Marketing and Sales management team at Business Unit Missile Systems responsible for leading the marketing and sales activities within your section. Our marketing activities are worldwide in cooperation with our market areas.

You will act as a Section Manager for our Ground Based Air Defence sales. The role will give you opportunities to build an extensive network, domestically and on the export market. You will work in close cooperation with Saab’s global business development organization.

Important parts in the Management role:

  • Lead and support Sales within your section on our worldwide market.
  • Management of the personnel within your section.
  • Define and execute sales strategies for products within the section
  • Follow up business plans, order intake, capture plans, etc.
  • Report to head of Marketing and Sales at the Business Unit.

In addition to the management role you will act as Product Sales Responsible for certain countries.

Responsibilities in the PSR role:

  • Responsible for order intake in accordance with set targets
  • Responsible for Sales of Missile Systems products in a specific geographical region
  • Point of Contact (POC) to Global Business Development
  • Responsible for accurate business data in the CRM-tool (LIME).

Your profile 

To thrive in this role, you are a business oriented person with great coaching and communication skills. You are used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You are structured and have an analytical mind-set enabling you to adapt to different circumstances.

Required skills:

  • High level of leadership capability and integrity.
  • High level of social skills.
  • International sales experience.
  • Good economical understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office

Other desired qualifications;

  • Experiences from defence industry
  • Knowledge about our products.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
